About the event
The Latino Caucus for Public Health (501c3) was founded in 1973 with a mission to address the health disparities and inequities faced by Latino populations through advocacy, education, and research. Over the past five decades, the Caucus has played a critical role in promoting health equity and social justice, particularly in the areas of chronic disease prevention, health promotion, and health policy.
To commemorate this milestone anniversary, we are planning a special event that will bring together Caucus members, public health professionals, policymakers, and community leaders from across the country. The event will feature keynote speakers, awards ceremony, and networking opportunities, providing a platform for attendees to engage with one another and exchange ideas on how to continue advancing the health of Latino communities.
